800G QSFP-DD LR8 10 km MTP/MPO-16
The 800G QSFP-DD LR8 optical transceiver transmits data over single mode fibre at a distance of up to 10km.
The transceiver operates on 1310nm wavelengths and works in point-to-point scenario.
800G QSFP-DD LR8 transceivers have eight optical lanes that operate at 100Gbps PAM4 modulation.
They are compliant with QSFP-DD MSA and with the Common Management Interface Specification (CMIS).
How to connect 800G QSFP-DD LR8?
800G QSFP-DD LR8 is equipped with an MTP/MPO-16 connector. This means that the user needs to prepare cable 10km 16 lines MTP/MPO-16 – MTP/MPO-16 connector.
In 800G to 8x100Gbps? scenario we should use MTP/MPO-16. This means that the user needs to prepare cable 16 lines 10km MTP/MPO-16 (for one side), 8 x duplex LC connectors for sides with 100G transceivers.
